György Stocker is currently working as an associate professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He received his architectural diploma in 1978 from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He completed his Doctorate of Liberal Arts studies in 2006 at the University of Pécs. He worked as an architect and managing director between 1998 and 2000 for the Hungarian-Austrian company TETA in Graz. Later he was deputy director and technical director of the company A&D Studio where he was the leader of about 15 architects and he coordinated also the other planners from different engineering fields. From 1991 he is the managing director of Stokplan PLC. With his colleagues he is planning public, industrial and other buildings and they are also organizing the construction. His special research fields are glass structures, façades.
